Our Story
BUILT BY
RACERS.
DirtGPS was built by racers, for racers. Nothing on the market kept up at speed. Everything was too slow to use, had confusing menus, and wasn't designed for racing. So we built our own, tested it at real Australian events, and kept refining it until it earned its place on our dash.

No. Android hardware does not support the systems DirtGPS demands for stability in racing conditions. DirtGPS is available exclusively on iPhone and cellular iPad.
GPS hardware is only in cellular-capable iPad models. Wi-Fi-only iPads don't have a GPS chip. You do not need a cell plan or SIM: the cellular model's built-in GPS works anywhere, with zero signal. All iPhones are fully supported. DirtGPS requires iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later.
Yes. Navigation, track recording, waypoints and voice callouts all keep working with no service at all. The standard map styles are stored on your device from the start. Satellite imagery is a PRO feature and it is not stored automatically: while you still have WiFi or mobile data, download the area you need. Once it is on your device it works with zero signal.
Yes. Import track files from any GPX-compatible app, and export your recorded tracks and folders. A folder exports as a single file with its tracks and waypoints together. Free users get 1 file. PRO removes the limit.
A customisable quick-access bar on the map. Use the default prerunner options or build your own for jumps, rough sections and blind crests. One tap drops a waypoint at your exact location, gloves on, no menus. PRO and Premium only.
Hands-free audio callouts for every waypoint as you drive, announced earlier the faster you're going, in true course order along your track. Works over Bluetooth with helmet comms, headsets and car audio. PRO and Premium only.
Only if you want spoken callouts. Your tracks and waypoints show on the map as soon as they exist, so you can just drive. Build a voice route when you want the course called out to you.
Play any recorded track back on the map, showing your position and speed along the way, with controls to pause, scrub and change speed. Replay your pre-run the night before to learn the course. PRO and Premium only.
Yes. Track recording continues with the screen off or the app in the background. If the app is ever killed mid-session, the recording is recovered next time you open DirtGPS.
Tap Go Live and your position, speed and trail appear on a live map. You get one permanent watch link, so you can share it before the race and it simply goes live when you do. PRO and Premium only.
Yes. Public sessions appear on the DirtGPS live map for anyone to find. Private sessions are hidden, and only the people you send your link to can watch. You choose in Settings under Live Tracking.
Yes. Live tracking, streaming and pit messaging need an internet connection in the car, such as mobile service or Starlink, and at the pit. Map navigation, recording, waypoints and voice callouts work fully offline.
Any camera or app that streams over RTMP, including GoPro. Enter your WiFi details and scan the setup code once and the camera goes live whenever it powers on. Connect up to 4 cameras and they appear side by side on your watch link. Premium only.
Yes. Add your own logos and images in the Overlay Editor and position them on the preview. They appear over your live video on your DirtGPS watch link. 1920 x 1080 PNG files with transparency work best.
Yes, with Multistream. Link the stream address and key from your chosen platform and DirtGPS sends the stream there too. Multistream sends Camera 1 only. Your DirtGPS watch link always shows every camera.
Share your Pit Crew Link and your crew opens it in any browser, with no app or account needed. You send one-tap quick messages from the car, and their replies appear on screen and are read aloud so your eyes stay on the track. Premium only.

Yes. Both PRO and Premium include a 7-day free trial. You are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then.
Manage or cancel any time from your iPhone or iPad Settings, under your Apple Account then Subscriptions. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
