DirtGPS prerunner mode on a cellular iPad, with custom hazard buttons over satellite imagery

Most of the Finke track is a long way from the nearest phone tower.
Here is what DirtGPS does out there.

0 BARSNavigate, record and hear callouts offline
1 TAPMark a hazard at race pace
IN ORDERCallouts follow your track, never skip ahead
YOUR BUTTONSYour own labels, icons and colours

Prerun to Finish Line

BUILT FOR DESERT RACING.

Whoops, blind crests, washouts and bulldust, out and back. Every screen below is the real app.

Prerunner mode: custom one-tap hazard buttons on a satellite map

Prerunner Mode PRO

MARK THE TRACK AT PACE.

Build your own button bar before the prerun: whoops, crests, washouts, bulldust, ruts, gates. Pick the label, icon and colour for each one.

Tap once and a named waypoint drops exactly where you are. No stopping, no typing, gloves on.

How prerunner mode works

Voice navigation calling the next waypoint on course

Voice Navigation PRO

EVERY HAZARD, CALLED.

Every waypoint is called before you reach it, through helmet comms, headsets or car audio over Bluetooth.

Callouts come earlier the faster you go and follow your track in true course order, so a missed marker never throws the sequence.

Offline satellite maps downloaded to the device

Offline Satellite Maps PRO

NO TOWER? NO PROBLEM.

Download the satellite imagery for the whole course on WiFi before you leave home, or in town before you head out.

Navigation, recording, waypoints and voice callouts then keep working with zero bars, the whole way out and back.

How offline satellite maps work

Waypoints with custom icons and colours sorted into folders

Waypoints & GPX

YOUR NOTES, ORGANISED.

Custom icons and colours for every waypoint, sorted into folders so each prerun and each race stays separate.

Import GPX files from any GPX-compatible app and export a whole folder as one file for your co-driver or teammates.
